·         To assess the future needs of the man power development in the world of work i.e. in    
    the industrial sector and the other field organizations. 
·         Course identification as per need of Industries.   
·         To prepare course material for the continuing education training program.   
·         To arrange faculty and other resources for programs.   
·         To offer need based short and long programs.   
·         To plan, implement, co-ordinate, monitor and review the programs and to apply the    
    corrective measures as per feed back.
·         Development of competency as well as professional skills among trainees.   
·         Entrepreneurship development.   
·         To generate internal revenue/resources for the Institution.   
Following courses are proposed to be started in the near future.
·     Six months training program for work inspectors of HPPWD, HIMUDA  and I & PH Deptt. &              HPU and HPKV Solan and Palampur
·     Pump operation and maintenance training programs for I & PH Department. ( Three Month)
·     Training programs for T-mates of HPPWD.
·     Training programs on computer awareness and application.
·     Training on computer hardware repair & maintenance.
·     Training program on AutoCAD.
·     Training program on gas welding operation.
·     Training program for fitting operation.
·     Pump Attendant Course for I & PH Department. (Three months duration)
